The AI & PM Community of Practice, A TPMA Community Group, is delighted to invite you to an exciting online roundtable discussion on the applications of AI in product management practices. This event brings together industry experts and professionals to discuss how artificial intelligence is changing the product management landscape.

We hope to facilitate meaningful conversations around leveraging AI as part of our product management toolkit. Our roundtable members, Adam, Samin, and Mayank, will share their expertise and engage in practical conversations touching on the following key areas:

  1. How to apply AI in PM day-to-day
  2. How our companies are applying AI to our products and principles
  3. How to apply off-the-shelf AI to products without breaking the bank
  4. Identifying the most relevant applications of AI within product management
  5. Examining the future role of product management practitioners in an AI-driven world

Speakers:


Adam Kropf is the Head of Product Management for Texada Software a B2B software company helping Heavy Equipment Businesses rent, sell and service equipment.  Outside of work, he mentors with the TPMA, and also co leads the Communitech Product Management P2P, and has recently given a talk on AI in Product Management.  In his personal time he enjoys woodworking, hiking, trying new recipes or spending time with his three kids.

Mayank Agarwal, with a decade in product management and software development, and an MBA from Coventry University, UK, now leads B2B SaaS for capacity management at Tempo Software. An active figure in Toronto's PM community and a former Product School event host, he's driven by his aerospace engineering background and a passion for ML and AI. Off-duty, he loves cooking and family time.

Samin Khan, founder of Education AI Solutions, where he provides consultations on AI and AI product development for EdTech and education-related organizations. Samin is also a graduate student researcher in Stanford’s AI Lab and NLP group, where he conducts research and development of AI/NLP products in education, television and criminal justice. He was formerly an AI Product Manager at the Association of College and University Educators (ACUE), where he spearheaded their first in-house AI-driven product initiative. This initiative increases the efficiency of teaching feedback for over 33,000 teachers by 250% through the integration of large-language models. Prior to that Samin was a founder and CTO of Autumn, since acquired by Qualtrics, where he led the development of their workplace burnout prevention suite. In his spare time, Samin plays improvised jazz on saxophone at his local coffee shop and trains in Muay Thai.
