Scott Affleck, VP of Product, RateHub
Scott is the VP of Product at Ratehub.ca, a product comparison site that helps Canadians find the best personal finance products for their needs. Scott leads the Product, Design, and Analytics functions at Ratehub. Scott is an avid lover of high-growth B2C & marketplace startups, and has spent over a decade working in Product in fintech, travel, and social media. Prior to his career in Product, Scott spent 6 years working in Corporate Strategy at Bain & Company and Bell Canada.
Ben Rajabi, Senior Director, WaveHQ
Ben Rajabi joined Wave Financials in 2017 as a product manager for their accounting and later payroll products. Two laters later, as the Director of Product Management, he led Wave’s product management team working with some of Toronto’s most seasoned product managers. Prior to 2017, Ben was the Director of Product at 500px, another Toronto startup. Ben now manages one of Wave’s business units.
Walid Koleilat, Senior Product Manager, Clearbanc
Walid Koleilat is a Senior Product Manager at Clearbanc, where he is building strategic product initiatives to help more than 4000 online businesses and SaaS companies get funded and grow. Prior to Clearbanc, Walid led the Financial Services group at Element AI where he built innovative, commercially successful products at the intersection of Financial Services, Artificial Intelligence, and Service Design.
Following this experience, he ventured into management consulting where he led digital transformations and built products in the area of payments and lending for the large banks. After 8 years in the corporate world, he leapt into the startup space where he saw a growing opportunity for creating data-informed products that solve core business needs. This is an on-line event with breakout rooms for networking before the presentation and afterwards. Networking breakout rooms will be open from 5:45pm to 6:00pm and from 7:00pm to 7:30pm.
